Kittens (aged six months and under): $130.00
Cats (aged seven months to one year): $90.00
Cats (aged one year and older): $75.00

We require each applicant to come into our shelter to complete the adoption process. We do not provide transportation of our cats to their new homes.
Our cats have received vaccines for FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies. They have also been Combo tested for FIV and FeLV and have received deworming treatment. All cats four pounds and over have been spayed or neutered. If the cat you are adopting is under four pounds at the time the adoption takes place, you will receive a spay/neuter certificate, allowing your cat to receive the surgery when age-appropriate.
Please answer all questions honestly. This will help ensure our pets are matched with the right forever homes.
Adopting a pet is a LONG-TERM commitment and should not be impulsive but a carefully thought-out decision.
Please know that when adopting a pet from PAWS, you agree to obey our strict adoption policy – the cat will be an INDOOR cat only, and at no point will you DECLAW the cat.
The adoption board reviews applications. You will be notified within three working days of their decision (this depends on the time it takes to reach the requested contacts).

​We appreciate you taking the time to fill out this adoption application. When choosing a cat to adopt, we encourage you to consider both your age and the cat's age carefully. Cats can live upwards of 15–20 years, and it can be very difficult for a kitten to spend its entire life in a loving home only to later be returned to a shelter or rehomed due to an owner's passing or a change in circumstances. When adopting, please consider not only your own needs and situation but also the long-term well-being of the cat. A thoughtful decision will ensure a happy, stable life for both you and your new feline companion.
